This has been one of the worst trips I've ever taken. I loved being
here for your wedding, Liz, but I think I'll have some gray hairs by
the time I get home... Not only have both my kids been up until at
least midnight every night, not only does Caiden scream and scream all
night long, waking up intermittently to realize that she has stopped
and better start up again. Not only are the bridesmaid's dresses all
different lengths, but along with a whole lot of other drama which
this trip to New England has been frothed with, each member of my
family is sick (including me). So not only are we tired, now we are
sick and tired.
But oh wait, here is where it gets exciting... Tonight as I was
driving back from the rehearsal dinner, the trunk of my car caught on
fire.
This is a photo I snapped of the state troopers that were there with
me and my infant and my three year old on the side of route 4. A
lonely stretch of road with no light and no stopping points. This was
after we baled out of the car(me, my friend Erica, and the kids) and
were stranded, helplessley, in the middle of nowhere, trying to call
for help. And it was also after some friends found us, as they were
returning from the dinner as well, and pulled the smoking items from
our car. And the police showed up and drenched everything...

Hey Corynne, Who would think that when I get on your blog for the first time, I find out all this scary stuff about my daughter-in-law and my 2 perfect grandchildren who are on the other side of the United States and there is nothing I can do about it.....Sounds like you're better now. Be safe! Dar
